Paoli Dam Biography:

Paoli Dam from Golf Road, Kolkata came into prominence with Bengali film “Kalbela” in 2009. The Director of the film is Gautam Ghosh. Paoli Dam won accolades for her performance, and often compared by the media as the next 'Smita Patil' mainly because of her dusky look.

She was selected for a role in Italo Spinelli's film ' Choli Ke Peeche'.

Paoli made her debut with the Bengali film Agnipariksha in 2006 and since then she has acted in so many Bengali films. Bengali film “Shawb Choritro Kalponik”, Bipasha Basu's debut Bengali film directed by Rituparno Ghosh is one of Paoli’s famous Bengali films.

Recently she in is news for her new film “Chhatrak” (Mushrooms).
